The 12th edition of the International Mycological Congress (IMC12) will take place in the beautiful city of Maastricht, Netherlands, from 11-15 August 2024.
Registration for IMC12 is officially open! Take advantage of the early bird rates starting from as little as $251 for students and $495 for full participants available only until May 21, 2024.
This world-class event will offer a comprehensive scientific programme, featuring keynote lectures by renowned experts, bridging sessions, and workshops covering seven key mycological themes. Immerse yourself in cutting-edge research, engage in stimulating discussions, and explore the latest advancements in mycology.
Before the congress, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the revolution in microbial ecology with our pre-congress field trip workshop on the Community Ecology of Fungi and Bacteria. Led by Prof. John W. Taylor from UC Berkeley, this workshop will explore DNA-based identification, interactions between mycobiomes and microbiomes, and much more.
After the main event, you can join us for an exciting post-congress field trip to the Eifel region in Germany on 16 August 2024. Discover rare lichens on lava rock, observe volcanic traces, and climb a tower for a panoramic view of the landscape. Organized by the University of Liège, this excursion promises a unique experience.
We are happy to reciprocate and promote any relevant events.
Don’t miss out on these enriching opportunities! We look forward to welcoming you to Maastricht in August.
