EUPHRESCO III Special Issue on Plant Health Research Priorities in the Mediterranean Region, to be published in Phytopathologia Mediterranea, are now available in the journal’s Online First section!

This Special Issue is a major milestone of the EUPHRESCO III project (HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ERA-01) on Strengthening Phytosanitary Research Programming and Collaboration: From European to Global Phytosanitary Research Coordination. It highlights the outcomes of an extensive consultation process that brought together experts from across the Mediterranean to identify the region’s most urgent plant health research priorities and strengthen international research collaboration.

The collection showcases cutting-edge reviews, strategic perspectives, and scientific contributions addressing the phytosanitary challenges that matter most for the Mediterranean region. It reflects the power of collaboration, networking, and shared vision in shaping future research agendas and supporting resilient, science-based plant health systems.
